"My son Noah has been attending Rodi Daycare Center since July 8th. He went from being home with a nanny to attending Rodi. The transition went so smooth and I have to credit Sonila and Rodi for this. These teachers are nurturing, extremely attentive, and so kind to the children. I didn't know what to expect since Noah had never been in this type of setting and these teachers made it so easy for Noah to become acclimated to his new surroundings. I'm very pleased with the curriculum and all that they have to offer. Noah enjoys his time at Rodi's and has learned so much in the short time that he's been here.

"Having a 4 and a half year old, we have experienced the gamut from babysitters to various daycares. By far, Rodi Daycare exceeded the expectations that we had. They proceeded with an open and friendly demeanor. We were welcomed every morning by a friendly smile and were even sent daily text messages keeping us informed of our daughter's well being and daily routine. We also received a newsletter every Friday, informing us of the weekly theme and lessons that were taught. Leaving your child in an unfamiliar place can create uncertainty and anxiety in any loving parent. However, the team at Rodi Daycare always made us feel at ease and comfortable leaving our daughter each day. As a new family to the neighborhood, we often ran into our daughter's teacher and were always greeted with kindness, neighborly advice, and comfort. We only wish that we had found Rodi Daycare sooner."

Here is a real loving, tender, and safe environment that I have really wanted for my little one. "Both of my kids (ages 2 and 3.5) have been at Rodi for almost 6 months and I have only great things to say about it. We have experienced other daycares in our area (and nannies) but Rodi is the greatest place where both my kids are shining and happy to go to school every morning. Both of my kids are socializing and building beautiful friendships with other kids. My kids grew so much across the board (vocabulary, behavior, focus, etc). The curriculum is age appropriate and they both surprise me with the new stuff they learn each day. The staff is beyond amazing. Friendly, patient, and provides the warmth and love that little kids need (my oldest constantly talks about her teachers). I get daily reports via email about each kid: what they did, how they felt, what they ate, their naps, etc. Each week I also receive pictures, so even though I work during the day, I am still aware of what my kids are doing at school. In addition, they also have occasional (and affordable!) school trips to places like Central Park Zoo and the circus, which expands the learning experience (and fun!) beyond the classroom. I highly recommend Rodi and I am glad that my family made the decision to have my two babies there."

"Having and raising a first baby as a working mom was not easy for me, but Rodi Daycare was our best choice for my 2 year old girl. I always see the teachers displaying so much love to the children. Not only that, but they have organized schedules and diverse classes in order to provide both learning and playing. Every week they have projects, painting, music, and Zumba, and everything is based on the weekly theme. Also, I am very happy to read daily updates regarding my daughter's daily activities and weekly updates regarding the weekly theme, sent by Ms. Sonila, the chief educator of Rodi Daycare. I can actually see my daughter's activities from lots of pictures via web. At Rodi Daycare, they have a very open line of communication between the teachers and the parents. "Rodi Daycare is amazing! The teachers are the most loving and caring people you will ever meet. They have been so accommodating to my daughter's special needs. On top of that, they are also much more affordable than a lot of other schools in the neighborhood. One of the most exciting but also stressful decisions that a parent can make in life is the selection of the first encounter of formal education for one's child and Rodi Daycare was one of the best choices we have made. We wanted to write you today to express our sincere gratitude for the exceptional staff that work at your facility and take it amongst themselves to provide a nurturing and safe environment. Words cannot express the appreciation that we have for Rodi; the treatment that Zoe received and the always-welcoming atmosphere made us feel like family. From the time that we met Mrs. Sonila, we had full trust that our child would be loved and taught at your school and has been for 2 years now. When we drop off Zoe each day, we are completely at ease because we know she is being cared for as if she were one of her own. 

For that peace of mind, we cannot thank you enough. You have not only taught our child, but us as well, and have given us the encouragement in our journey as parents. Zoe enjoys every single activity, from arts and crafts to reading, playing instruments, zumba and fun times at the playground. She looks forward to going to Mrs. Sonila, Mrs. Michelle and her friends every day. Now she will be moving up to a 'big girl school' as she calls it, but we will truly miss you.

"I can't say enough good things about this daycare. My twins have been at Rodi since they were 20 months old and we all love it. It is a very loving, nurturing environment. The teachers are well trained, very caring and warm. They truly love the children and it shows. My twins love going to 'school' everyday. The curriculum is developmentally appropriate and my children have learned so much. I love that the children go outside almost everyday, which I think is very important. I get daily emails that keep me up to date on my children's daily and weekly activities. This daycare feels like a family and I have never once worried about my children while at Rodi. "My son Ethan G. has been attending Rodi for the past three years and he has benefitted from his time spent there. I can speak of Rodi from the perspective of both a full and part time enrollee. During Ethan’s time as a full time enrollee, he was given a clear curriculum with teachers who were dedicated to his learning, particularly providing the baseline foundational skills that has allowed him to do well in preschool. My son is at or above grade level in some key areas and his time at Rodi was definitely helpful.

During Ethan’s time as a part time enrollee, Ethan was able to balance his time at preschool with a more organic experience where he was able to socialize with same – aged children. This is extremely important for my son as he grows closer to his admittance to kindergarten. Rodi has been really helpful this way. Over the years, I have found the staff at Rodi to be EXTREMELY responsive to any communication regarding our son. All phone calls are answered, all emails are responded to, and there is pertinent information readily available upon pick up. The staff is overtly friendly to my son and us as parents.

I recommend Rodi wholeheartedly as both a parent and educator. They provide the right environment for toddlers to develop. It is safe, friendly, and appropriately transparent for all stakeholders. Rodi is a strong option for someone looking for quality experience for their children during the day."

"My son has been attending Rodi for the past couple of years. It was absolutely the right choice for our family. The kind, warm, and loving atmosphere is exactly what we were looking for when we signed up. Daily reports and weekly pictures provide a peek into their daily life.
